Recently developed dance techniques are integrated and current trends from other art forms are incorporated. Dance here can be very abstract. It is used as a language that speaks only about the body in motion.
Dance Theater became an independent genre of dance in the 1970s, especially through Pina Bausch, with its origins in German Ausdruckstanz. The term describes a combination of dance and theatrical means such as language, realistic stage sets and the inclusion of the dancers' biographies.
Improvisation means acting out of the moment and spontaneously. As in music or theater, improvisation in dance can be used in the creation process or practiced as its own stage form. There are different tasks that serve as a framework and are practiced just as much as fixed choreographies.

The choreography arose from the realization, that everyone has experienced at least one move to a new home in their life. Although this event seems banal on the surface, it varies always in form, motivation, in its perception and consequences. Each woman tells her personal story of moving house through dance and thus opens herself to the audience.

The field of tension between the individual and the community is explored in a humorous and surprising way.

The cross-generational dance piece explores the field of tension between individual and community. Most of the dancers are on stage for the first time, they are co-creators of the dance piece. This is based on structured improvisation, which means that not a single step is predetermined. In this way, the piece challenges the community spirit and creative individual responsibility of the participants.

Particularly young people are challenged to orientate themselves in a world of endless possibilities, having to decide on forward-looking paths. What feelings do the young people experience when they embark on their journey? What are their goals? And who or what do they take with them on the different routes? The young dancers were deeply involved as a choreography was developed, which searches for answers to these questions. The music is based on the interplay of the various movement contents. The result is a jointly developed, complete work of music, sound and dance.

What have the past few years left in us? The dancers search for an expression that does justice to the feelings and aftermaths of the pandemic and restores their own ability to act. The group works with movements and gestures as well as with texts from Surrealism and Dadaism. They have their fingers on the pulse of time and are looking for a new common denominator.
